AI Strategy.

Use-case portfolio, roadmap and governance — in weeks rather than quarters.

DACH-wide

Most companies do not have an AI strategy — they have AI activities: a pilot here, a tool there, and in between the pressure of expectations from the shareholder circle and uncertainty about what the competition is really doing. The result is almost always the same: a lot of motion, little progress, and no one can say what AI has delivered to the company so far.

Our AI strategy consulting replaces activity with direction. We assess your use cases soberly by value contribution, feasibility and risk, prioritise them into a roadmap with clear first steps — and establish the organisational foundations: responsibilities, data base, governance. The result is not a slide deck for the shelf, but a working plan against which you can hold us accountable.

01

Survey (weeks 1–2)

Interviews with management and key areas, review of ongoing AI activities, a check of the data situation and system landscape. Outcome: an honest picture of the status quo.

02

Use-case workshops (weeks 3–4)

With the people who know the processes: collecting use cases, making them concrete and assessing them against effort, benefit and risk — including the cases we deliberately discard.

03

Prioritisation & roadmap (weeks 5–6)

The assessed portfolio becomes a 12-month roadmap: quick wins first, strategic initiatives with milestones, and for each initiative a budget framework and a make-buy-wait recommendation.

04

Embedding (weeks 7–8)

Coordination with management, defining responsibilities and decision paths, EU AI Act classification of the prioritised initiatives, handover with a review cadence.

  • Assessed use-case portfolio (typically 15–30 cases) with a viability evaluation per case
  • 12-month roadmap with quick wins, strategic initiatives and budget framework
  • A make, buy or wait recommendation for each prioritised initiative
  • Initial EU AI Act classification of the planned use cases
  • Responsibility and governance proposal (who decides what)
  • Management summary for shareholders/advisory board
What does AI strategy consulting cost?
Depending on company size and depth, typically a low to mid five-figure amount for the full course of four to eight weeks. In the initial consultation we give you a concrete estimate — and will also tell you if a leaner variant is sufficient.
We already have AI pilots — is the strategy still worthwhile?
Precisely then: existing pilots provide valuable evidence for the assessment. The strategy places them in context, honestly ends the unsuccessful ones and scales the viable ones with a plan.
How much time do our people need to invest?
Manageable, but real: interviews (60–90 minutes each), two to three half-day workshops with the business units and two coordination meetings with management. Without this engagement, any strategy becomes a foreign body.
Do you also implement the roadmap?
On request, yes — through our placement of suitable AI specialists or our agent solutions. The strategy is, however, deliberately implementer-neutral: you can also realise every recommendation with your own teams or other partners.
